Customized IR Programs
Like fingerprints, no two companies are exactly
alike. At LHA, we recognize the unique corporate
characteristics and investment thesis of each client
company and develop individualized communications
strategies that position clients to their best
advantage in the financial marketplace.
IPO IR Programs
IPO investor relations programs ideally begin well
before the first "org" meeting with the underwriting
syndicate, and lay the groundwork for success that
continues far beyond the pricing of the deal. We
work with our IPO clients to educate management
teams on the fiduciary responsibilities and
sensitivities of being a public company and help
them to shoulder those demands. Our work is
comprehensive, and ranges from institutional and
banker introductions for private companies, to
message development and IPO road show support. We
also build a credible foundation of IR Best
Practices to ensure successful long-term
programming.
Peer Analyses
Understanding how the investment community views
stocks in certain industry sectors and with similar
parameters is important in developing a targeted IR
program. We garner market intelligence about a
company's peer group as an essential tool in
creating messages, metrics and deliverables that
resonate with the most appropriate and logical
buyers of each clients' stock. As a result, we
determine how to make our clients stand out from
others in the crowd.
IR Best Practices
With 20+ years of Wall Street and Investor Relations
experience, LHA has been a leader in developing what
are now considered industry Best Practices. We know
what works and what doesn't to make our clients
succeed. We work with our clients to establish Best
Practices in every aspect of the programs we create.
Our insight into process and product is borne out of
knowledge, experience, and integrity.
Crisis Communications (IR) "The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the
word 'crisis.' One brush stroke stands for danger;
the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of
the danger - but recognize the opportunity."
John F. Kennedy (Speech in Indianapolis, 1959).
Through risk assessment, advanced crisis plan
development, and meticulous implementation, we
assist our clients in preparing to face their
"danger" and seek ways to transform it into an
opportunity.
Disclosure and Guidance
Information is the lifeblood of efficient capital
markets. At LHA, we work with clients to develop
their disclosure infrastructure, establishing
general criteria for granting fair levels of access
and distribution of information that complies with
Reg FD and SOX regulations. We guide managers in
establishing policies as to what type of information
management and other employees should discuss
outside the firm to limited audiences, how to avoid
inadvertent disclosures, as well as how information
will be disseminated to the market at large when or
if material non-public information is
unintentionally disclosed. We help clients address
the complexity of providing analyst guidance through
our knowledge of the regulatory requirements and an
understanding of all particular sensitivities
involved.
Corporate Governance
Good governance is the hallmark of a well-run
company. LHA provides executive management and their
boards with counsel on the development of
information architectures that provide a unified
approach to internal communications that creates
greater transparency, independence and perspective.
This also provides them with the information they
need to make better decisions and develop
information safeguards to offer more reliable
disclosures with confidence. This approach arms
corporate leaders with the insight, alignment and
confidence to effectively govern and nurture
shareholder value.
Board Level Counsel
Our years of experience and our in-depth knowledge
of our client companies' businesses and industries
affords us the unique perspective to provide counsel
on a myriad of corporate issues including, but not
limited to: financings; M&A activity; share
repurchases and splits; dividend programs; reverse
mergers; and insider selling programs. We present
board members with situation analyses that address
the perspectives of all stakeholders in a company
including public shareholders, the investment
community at large, the management and board, the
employees, suppliers and customers. We help
companies make the right decisions based on
available information.
