Our Team

Don Markley joined LHA’s healthcare practice in August 2005, with nearly 20 years of Agency and in-house experience in investor relations and corporate communications. Previously he was senior director of investor relations for Business Objects, a software firm based in San Jose, Calif. Prior to that Don was director of investor relations with Critical Path and a vice president with the Financial Relations Board, both in San Francisco. Further Agency work includes Fleishman Hillard and Georgeson (New York) and Porter Novelli (Los Angeles). In addition he was a stockbroker and investment advisor with Dean Witter for more than six years, and has taught at Cal State Los Angeles and at San Diego City College. Don holds a BA in journalism from San Diego State University and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
